We have had another very exciting week at GEL! Last week, one of the GEL team took part in a Department of Business and Trade organised Trade Mission to Detroit to visit General Motors and other US based companies working in the automotive sector to discuss low-carbon lithium production from geothermal resources in Cornwall. Low carbon lithium production will be key for decarbonising the automotive industry and Cornwall can play a large role in this.
This was a very exciting and informative event which was a valuable experience for our team. We look forward to hopefully attending more international geothermal events in the future to share our experiences and to ignite the excitement surrounding geothermal energy.
