It has been a busy week for the GEL team! Last week GEL team members Claudia Malam, Jane Charman, Tom Olver and Poppy Edgecombe all had the pleasure of attending the 11th Geothermal Symposium, organised by the Energy Group – The Geological Society and held at Burlington house in London.
The team enjoyed their time and found the talks both interesting and insightful. Our own Ryan Law presented the progress of the United Downs Deep Geothermal project and discussed our plans for the next year.
Many thanks to Critical Raw Materials Geothermal, PUSH-IT and the Cornish Mining Alliance for supporting us and making it possible for us to attend. We are very grateful to be able to attend these informative events and it is great to see the word of geothermal being spread and so passionately discussed. We are looking forward to attending more events like this one in the future.
