We are so pleased to announce a huge new milestone for the UK’s very first deep geothermal power plant here at United Downs!
It is with great excitement that we are able to tell you that the generation turbine that converts geothermal steam into electricity has been successfully installed at the United Downs site in Cornwall. Our turbine was supplied by Exergy ORC. This colossal development at United Downs means the project will very soon deliver the first geothermal electricity in the UK!
