Last week GEL attended and presented at the Stanford Geothermal Workshop in California, sharing an update on the United Downs Geothermal Project. Included in the presentation was a review of the development of the UK’s first geothermal power plant, from site selection to drilling, in addition to an update of the construction of the power plant and development of lithium extraction capabilities.
This edition of the workshop marked the event’s 50th anniversary and gave GEL a fantastic opportunity to engage and share ideas with a large audience from both industry and academia.
